Getting to know Survivor Branford

Hello! Survivor Branford is held annually in the summer.  Dates for the upcoming season are typically known by mid-February.

We’re Survivor without the surviving.  We pause the game for meals and take an overnight break in which all players have a bed or couch to sleep on.  Naturally, the game’s focus is much more geared to the strategic elements and challenges and not on survival skills.

The game’s duration is approximately 32 hours (including the overnight break).  It has been run on a Saturday morning to Sunday evening schedule with the option for players to arrive the evening before the game kicks off.

Every season has featured a cast comprised of a mix of new and returning players.

Castaways are responsible for arranging their own transportation and bringing all supplies (including $150 game fee) required for the weekend.

There is a small cash prize for the winner of the season as each player is asked to kick in an additional $10 to the prize pool.

We take so much pride in the effort that our small production crew puts in to plan, execute, film, and edit the weekend.  Survivor Branford has been extremely fortunate to have gained over 2,000 YouTube subscribers and over half a million total views. Each season is posted approximately 5 months from the time of filming with 12 weekly episodes.

Most importantly we don’t take ourselves too seriously.  At the heart of it all we are a group of friends who are enjoying each others’ company on a summer weekend while playing a crazy game.
